10% Off, Every Order

First Responder Discount

Active firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, police, sheriff's deputies, state troopers, and 911 dispatchers get 10% off every order of FDM and SLA 3D printing. Same 2–5-business-day turnaround — verify in about 30 seconds with SheerID.

Verify your First Responder eligibility

Powered by SheerID. Verification typically takes about 30 seconds, and the 10% discount applies to your next quote automatically.

How does the 10% first-responder discount work?

Verify your status via SheerID (real-time lookup against department + credentialing databases, about 30 seconds), then check out with the same email — the 10% discount applies automatically as a labeled line item on the Stripe receipt.

SheerID handles the credential review — we never see your ID or department documents. Verification is good for the standard 12-month window, then the same email auto-applies the discount on every order. Re-verify when you change departments or roles.

Volume tiers stack on top of the 10%. Department procurement accounts get net-30 billing and free engineering review on the first three orders.

What 3D printing use cases work for first responders?

Equipment mounts, gear retention clips, training-aid terrain models, replacement knobs and brackets for fleet vehicles, K-9 unit gear, station organization parts. PETG / ASA for outdoor durability; Nylon for load-bearing mounts; PLA for low-cost training aids.

Common orders: radio holsters and console mounts, glove and tool retention clips, custom drawer organizers for engine / squad cars, sand-table terrain blocks for training scenarios, replacement plastic parts for older equipment that's long out of OEM stock. PETG and ASA handle outdoor / sun exposure; Nylon (PA-12) carries mechanical loads on duty mounts; PLA covers cheap training aids and dispatch-room organizers.

We do not print firearms, suppressors, or regulated weapons components. Tactical accessories that don't require an FFL (mounts, grips, retention clips, optics adapters, K-9 gear) are welcome.

Frequently asked questions

Who qualifies as a first responder?
Active firefighters (career and volunteer), emergency medical technicians (EMTs), paramedics, police officers, sheriff's deputies, state troopers, federal law enforcement, 911 dispatchers, and emergency-medical-services administrators. Retired first responders also qualify on most SheerID program configurations.
How do I verify?
Click "Verify Eligibility" — SheerID's secure popup checks your status in real time against department databases and credentialing services. Most verifications complete in about 30 seconds. If your department isn't in the lookup, SheerID prompts for an ID upload and reviews within one business day.
How is the 10% applied?
Once SheerID confirms, the 10% applies automatically at checkout when you use the same email you verified with. Discount appears as a labeled line item on the Stripe receipt — no code, no manual review.
What proof does SheerID accept?
Department-issued ID badge with photo, paystub or tax document showing department employer, official department appointment letter, or a state EMS / law-enforcement credentialing card. SheerID handles the document review on their side — we never see the credentials.
Common first-responder use cases for 3D printing?
Custom equipment mounts (radio holders, gear retention clips, glove holders), training aids and tactical-scenario terrain, replacement knobs and brackets for older fleet vehicles, K-9 unit equipment, station-improvement parts (cable guides, drawer organizers, label holders), and small-batch tooling for breach training scenarios.
Are there restrictions on what we can print?
Same as our standard policy: we don't print firearms, suppressors, or regulated weapons components — those require an FFL we don't hold. Tactical accessories that fall outside ATF jurisdiction (mounts, grips, retention clips, optics adapters) are fine. Anything for use on duty is welcome under the discount.
Can my department set up an account?
Yes. Net-30 invoicing is available for departments with a verified procurement contact and tax-exempt certificate (where applicable). Email orders@3dservicesusa.com from a department address with your AP contact and we onboard within 2 business days. The first-responder discount stacks with volume tiers automatically thereafter.
Does the discount stack with volume tiers?
Yes. The 10% applies first; quantity discounts (5+, 10+, 25+, 50+, 100+, 500+, 1,000+) layer on top. A 50-unit unit-equipment refresh order lands around 18-22% under list.
